Wildfire by Garrett Leigh

5.0

I was taken with Kai and Joss before they even met. Sometimes you just know in the first couple of chapters that the story will hook you and make you want to re-read it over and over again. Not that I would ever be surprised to love a Garrett Leigh book. Add that to the fact that with this one we are returning to the True North Vino & Veritas world, and I just knew I would be in love.

Kai is strong, patient, and used to stepping in and rescuing people (literally). But that all changed with one night, one tragic event brings it all to a halt. Seriously, you’ll want to wrap this sweet, ‘broken’ man in your arms, and keep him safe (and sane). His story will tug at your heartstrings.

When vibrant and wild Joss blows in you know this will be something special. Adorable Joss, who shows love through food, and knows just how to relate to Kai. With his own obstacles that he has embraced and made peace with in a way most never can. He’s so full of life.

The acceptance and understanding these two show each other is enough to melt even the most buttoned-up heart, and the way they balance the other out is lovely.

This one has burrowed deep in my heart.
