I was really shocked to see this book land in my inbox last week but really pleased. It only took me about an hour to read through the whole thing but I really enjoyed it.

Dolly is your typical curvy, red-headed heroine, but Ford is very different from any male love interest I’ve ever read. Brawny, bald, bearded and very dominating. I didn’t think I’d love him much but by the end of the book, I really had fallen for him.

He was an asshole throughout several parts of the book, I’m not going to lie, but he did manage to redeem himself in the end.

The story was short, sharp, but steamy as anything. I’ve never tackled any books featuring larger heroines but I have to say I really did enjoy this one. Steamy sex and a loveable husky hunk on the heroine’s tail...what’s not to love?

My only note is that the book mentions the heroine being “plus-sized” several times and this fact is a main focus of the book but later it reveals that she is only a size “14”. Not a major factor but it did frustrate me a bit seeing a size 14 girl (size 16 in UK) called plus-size when that barely borders on plus-sized imho.
