How on Earth could that indecisive woman do that to Teddy? Leave him on the train station waiting for her only for her not to come! And the Duke!The nerve of that man is really something else entirely.Does he have multiple personalities? This was a deliciously consumable read albeit I wanted to strangle some people I will admit. The writer takes you back to just before the change of the Great War cam on, and does so splendidly. I was thoroughly taken in by the style of writing and its simplicity and elegance of the use of the written word.
