Shireen is a 17 year old Bangladeshi-Irish girl whose love of baking gets a shot at staring on the first ever season of Junior Irish Bake Off. Too bad Shireen’s ex-girlfriend Chris also gets onto the show. And with a new love interest on the show… things get interesting. But alls fair in love and baking right?
This book is extremely punny and fun! It’s quick paced and full of excitement and drama and a fat MC who gets to just enjoy food! Although beware, Shireen is often very self-centred which was the only level of downfall for me in this book. This was my first Jaigirdar book and it certainly won’t be my last! Talk about a fast new favourite author! 😍
