Back Blast by Mark Greaney

5.0

Honestly couldn't put it down. Numerous times this week I just had to force myself to stop reading and go to sleep so I wasn't miserable at work.

Mark Greaney can flat-out write. This book feels like the culmination of the previous four. It's sort of the end of an era, but the beginning of what is to come.

Probably one of the most interesting things about this series is how it does not become repetitive. The slowly peeled onion revealing the mystery is perfectly balanced with the high wire escape acts Court Gentry frequently engages in.

I remember being pretty well obsessed with the Tom Clancy books of my youth, but I truly think The Gray Man series is a worthy successor. I'm becoming pretty obsessed with them.
