The Golden Frog Games by Claribel A. Ortega

5.0

Second in the ongoing series where witchlings are sorted into houses during Black Moon Ceremony and the trio MCs were all sent houseless as Spare witches!

In this sequel, the Spare witchlings are slowly making their name as part of Ravenskill - Seven Salazar as an Uncle-in-training, Thorn Laroux as a skilled costura competitor, and Valley Pepperhorn as a budding witch.

But not everyone in Ravenskill is agreed with giving Spare witches role in the community and as the once-every-four-years Golden Frog Games commenced, a serial hexer using archaic magic is on the loose to stonify the Spare witchlings and the witches that surround them.

Yes, I'll never get tired of reading middle grade books and in this second book we have fantasy mixed with mystery!

Can't wait to read the news that Witchlings will be adopted into a TV series or movie because this series is magical!!

Finished in less than two days!! Looking forward to third book from Claribel!!

RATING: 4.5 stars
