The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller

5.0

Reading this again felt as painful as the first time—and as beautiful. Madeline Miller has a way with her words, her characters are very special, very real. Achilles and Patroclus feel like people I know, her "villains" are gray, well-thought-out. Her Gods make it look like I'm reading mythology. She gets it.

This and Circe are very dear to me, something like pieces of comfort reading, two books that make me feel at home, in a way. Can't help but wonder what'll come next.
