This story was so sad and emotional. A few friends go out and enjoy a good evening and unfortunately tragedy ensues on the car ride home. Charlie loses his girlfriend Jennifer and blames the loss on Autumn. Autumn was dating the driver and Charlie believes she shouldn’t have let him drive. The town and Charlie shunned Autumn and made her feel so bad she left the town. Now eight years later she is back because her father is sick and the family whisky business is suffering because the town has decided to side with the other family involved in the tragedy and refuse to give business to Autumn’s. Charlie is one grumpy, mean, angry man at the beginning of this book it was hard to imagine him getting over his pain and anger. I don’t usually talk about spicy moments in a book but, that first intimate scene between Charlie and Autumn was so freaking hot. OMG!! This was such an emotionally charged book with me feeling all the emotions of the characters and the way they were wrestling with their feelings and emotions. This book really deals with grief and how we must learn to move on and keep living and hopefully find love and happiness. Once I started this book I didn’t stop reading until it ended. Truly loved this first book in this Dream Series and  cannot wait to read the future books. I wish I could have given this book six stars it was just that good.
