The Only One Left by Riley Sager

5.0

'I'm about to meet a woman who slaughtered her family. Allegedly slaughtered, I remind myself.'

A classic feeling gothic mystery with ALL the atmosphere! It's set in a cliff side mansion that is literally crumbling into the ocean piece by piece. It was stressing me out knowing the whole thing could go at any time! 😱😆 I was completely drawn in by this Lizzie Borden type mystery, the creeping suspense, and the moody atmosphere. Top tier Sager for me.

'But working here, even for just a few weeks, could change everything. With that in mind, I take a deep breath, pass through the door, and allow Hope's End to swallow me whole.'
