The grief and loss in this book.. hits so deeply. Dorian was very raw and relatable to me personally. The pushing people away to not be hurt again? Oh, just call me out. 

This being in Dorian's POV so we experience the students through his eyes? How much he genuinely cares for them? Ugh my heart 😭 If you are a fan of My Hero Academia, picture that anime through Aizawa's eyes... yeah, we both crying now! 

I was legit crying listening to the last few chapters of this. I felt it so deeply. They have grown so much 😫 Book 2 is gonna hit me so hard. With seeing the kids again and Dorian finally letting Milo in?! I'm ready. 

I know we never officially met Finn, but the times he shows up in memories gutted me.
