I really liked the Armenian representation and the educational aspects of the book. I had just learned about the Armenian genocide last summer and I love that this book touches on it through a romcom! It’s an accessible way to learn about Armenian culture! I really enjoyed the book and i love Erebuni! She’s so sweet and awesome! The main character not so much with her poor choices, negative opinions and misunderstandings and her saying Taylor swift is her worst enemy! And that TS is super straight (Why and also Taylor’s music is so queer). I understand that the main character was questionable in order to be able to learn more about the importance of her identity and culture, but at times it was frustrating. I was choosing between 4.5 and 4.75 but went with the higher side because I learned a lot and the background of this novel is so important especially because I’ve never seen a mainstream novel that had mostly Armenian characters ( and this one is sapphic!) I definitely recommend this book even though the main character wasn’t my favorite
