It’s weird, it’s winding, it’s beautiful. It may be long, but it still felt short because of how fast I was able to read this. I will be rereading this to annotate.
Despite its age, it feels very modern, like Alien or The Terminator in its pseudo-nostalgic timelessness. Before I looked up the original publication date, I thought it was written in the mid to late 80’s based on vibes alone. It was written in 1965.
