If you love The Great Gatsby, you'll love this - very similar themes. There's a huge focus on disenchantment and the book spans over quite a long timeline, where you're taken with the characters through the trials and tribulations of navigating high society, developing your life purpose and dealing with complex relationships. Quite heavy in places but also very funny in places.
