Okay so coming off of book two which was such an 'exceeds expectations' moment for me, book 3 was a bit of a let down. This one felt like it was reaching a bit in terms of plot, it felt more like the smut was the primary. It was not bad, I just felt like I was coming off of a high and then this one didn't quite live up to its predecessors. The great spice level remained, this time in the shape of rivals to lovers.
