King of Sloth by Ana Huang

fast-paced

3.5

I have been looking forward to reading this book because Sloane is a memorable friend who appears in the other three books in the series. The chapters in the book are told from Sloane and Xaiver's point of view. Sloane has been hired by Xavier's billionaire father to be Xaiver's publicist and to make sure that his reputation does not damage the business. Xaiver's carefree attitude drives Sloane crazy, but she has to work with him for the sake of her PR firm. (view spoiler) Can Sloane maintain her professional distance around Xaiver? Xaiver is determined to make his relationship with Sloane work, and he knows that she is not the ice queen that her family calls her.

This was a fun contemporary romance with spicy sex scenes and likable characters. Fans of Annika Martin's Billionaires of Manhattan will enjoy this series. The Kings of Sin series is more gritty and darker than Annika Martin's series.
