This one was just so comforting and beautifully written I loved every second of it. I don't know what it is but I always love books placed in Alaska. If I ever get the chance to travel to Alaska I would do it in a heartbeat!
Now back to the book: I love to see Calla grow and build a relationship with her dad after so many years not talking to each other. All characters were just so loveable, they feel like family. Simon for example seems like such a great person and stepdad for Calla. He always finds the right words and is so supportive. I think everyone needs a Simon in their life!!
The forming relationship of Calla and Jonah was also very lovely to follow along.
The only thing I did not enjoy were the small planes. Holy moly they gave me and my fear of flying a hard time! haha
I laughed & I cried and can't recommend this book enough. It was absolutely beautiful!
"Do I seem like the kind of girl who'd fall for some Alaskan sky cowboy?"
