In this book, Ama and Elliot are distinctly established as sunshine and grumpy respectively in the flashback chapters but their present self are still in the awkward exes era safely navigating the space as they work together as professional partners.

The tension, out of this world!! Ama and Elliott maybe great at what they do in weddings but they do sure suck in expressing their feelings especially after the events of their messy breakup.
