Forget Me Not by Julie Soto
5.0
The majority of the events in Forget me Not happened before, during, and after a wedding since the main characters are involved in wedding preps - Ama as an up-and-coming wedding planner and Elliot as a florist-slash-flower shop owner.
Ama and Elliot are exes and they're successfully avoiding each other after their messy breakup years ago but one majestic wedding pulled them both to work together and maybe rekindle the fire?
THOUGHTS
This book excelled in both the romcom and the spicy parts and that rarely happens. I'm convinced Julie's writing style (that is a mix of hilarious and moving) is honed and crafted to serve the romance readers community.
Writing style again, I guarantee you won't have a hard time reading this because you'll get the intrigue about Ama and Elliott right from the very first chapter.
And who doesn't want to read about second chance romance featuring a grumpy x sunshine pairing? In this book, Ama and Elliot are distinctly established as sunshine and grumpy respectively in the flashback chapters but their present self are still in the awkward exes era safely navigating the space as they work together as professional partners.
The tension, out of this world!! Ama and Elliott maybe great at what they do in weddings but they do sure suck in expressing their feelings especially after the events of their messy breakup.
The spicy scenes in this book don't need to go hard yet it was delivered in a way that complemented Ama and Elliott's chemistry so that's
