This book lived up to the expectations I had set for it. We get a dual perspective throughout the book- and a new perspective during the epilogue (which I loved). I loved Margot’s character. She never took no for an answer and she always stayed true to what she was doing. Even after she went through some rough patches after moving back in with her uncle Luke.
I loved getting Krissy’s POV. I think it added so much to the novel and really helped tie in everything else. Krissy’s character did make me upset in the beginning- but as I read on I ended up feeling so sympathetic for her. I don’t agree with her decisions- but still my heart hurts.
The reason this got a 4star is because I felt as if especially in the beginning- it was as if she was tying real life cases into the novel and it felt too forced and fake.
But I am glad I stuck it through and finished because the twist in the end- was jaw dropping.
I didn’t expect any of the ending. It was honestly CRAZY. I also do wish we got more of an explanation in the ending before the epilogue.
