I have so many thoughts about this book 😂 First of all, I absolutely was not expecting it to start with the most nonchalant and consequence-free myurdurr I have ever read! Like, not gonna lie, I'm glad Harris burned that dude down, but like...what! I was just kinda waiting for the other shoe to drop the whole book, but nothing ever came of it. I did like both characters in this book, although they definitely just both fit the mold for a classic Daddy-saves-damaged-boy book, so there wasn't anything about either of them that really stood out to me. If you're looking for a (relatively)light read that's more fluff than complicated character development, look no further. This was a decently written story, and I have to give props to Luna the flunkee service dog for being the best part of this book!
