How to Stop Time by Matt Haig

3.0

The story itself wasn’t my favorite but this writer is such a talented one! His writing is so delicate and profound. Even every day moments and thoughts are described in such an intricate but yet absolutely perfect way. Every word he writes is there for a reason and it makes sense. It kills me. Once more, I want to save all his quotes!
But if I have to save just one, might be this -bc of personal grieving reasons: “People you love never die. (…) They don't die. Not completely. They live in your mind, the way they always lived inside you. You keep their light alive. If you remember them well enough, they can still guide you, like the shine of long-extinguished stars could guide ships in unfamiliar waters.
