The first time I read this book I hated it.

I was fourteen and just looked upon Holden like he was a whiny, spoiled brat. Having re-read it at nineteen I completely understand both him as a character and the things that he goes through.

If you've read this and weren't too sure about it I'd definitely recommend giving it another shot.
