So I was looking at reviews for this book while I was logging it, and to be completely honest: if this is the worst book KJ Charles has written then I want to read everything she's written.
To get through the negatives first; Guy was an annoying protagonist at first, and the first quarter of the book dragged pacing wise because of it. I would have also liked to see the romance between Amanda and Dr. Martello, and even just more interactions with the rest of the hellfire club. They were fun characters when they were present but they just weren't present often.
With that aside, once Guy started to get out of his shell more, started to get combative, and when we got to the romance, I was fully invested. I was shouting in my car, giggling like I was reading a fanfic with my otp in it. The romance was fun and believable, I loved the characters and there wasn't a moment after the beginning that I wasn't interested in continuing it.
