The Complete Poems by Emily Brontë, Janet Gezari
3.0
Ok, so of course this was good in terms of the poems. But i can't help but think it would have been better not to read the 'complete' poems all at once but to read them in seperate volumes. I got this from the library, otherwise i would have taken a long time to read this. Then i wouldn't have felt like i was reading hundreds of poems about: death, the fictional city of gondal (which we have no real context for, these read as random snippets more than anything) or the moors.
like i said, great writing. some great quotes. but would be better to take your time reading the collection.
