Normally I shy away from reverse age-gap romances however lately I continue to pick them up without knowing and end up enjoying the heck out of them and this is another one to fit that bill. Lucas and Tess were so adorable and while there was some angst it was the perfect amount for what I was in the mood for where they didn't fall right into each other's arms but they did not completely fight their feelings. I liked how Lucas was adamant in assuring Tess of his attraction to her when she would argue that her age was an issue. The way he was completely smitten with her from the start was just so adorable, I could not get enough of him. Tess's journey with the understanding that her ex told her lies about her emotional bandwidth was interesting to read about and I liked watching her realize just how empathetic she has been all along. I loved how this story wrapped up in that it was a vacation romance but Lucas knew he was not letting her leave the island without her. Just a fun couple to read about.
