I was not expecting this book to go off so hard

The plot was plotting, there’s so much more to unfold and this book has set it up the next one nicely. There’s already brewing conflict and I AM HERE FOR IT !!

The characters each have their charms (not looking at you Malakai, you can choke) and are well written
