The Marketing Blueprint: Lessons to Market & Sell Anything by Jules Marcoux

2.0

2.5/5

This book was ok. It has the very basic principles of marketing explained in a down to earth way, but to me it read more like a self help book and I didn't like the author's voice. It was an easy and quick read though.

It's supposed to be a blueprint but, although it has some good tips, to me, lacks depth. If you read it and don't know anything about marketing in practice, it may seem to you that it is the easiest thing in the world and that you can achieve success effortlessly. That is just not true.

I think it's a good read if you are an entrepreneur and want to know a bit about marketing yourself or your brand, but I recommend to read something that goes more in depth in the subject after this. If you, like me, already have a marketing experience, you'll be reminded of some useful tips but I doubt you'll find something remarkable or memorable in here.
