This books reads very easily. So easily in fact that you feel like you’re just getting the cliff notes and nothing of substance and juicy. Still a pleasant read.
Evangeline leaves a lot to be desired in a FMC. Yes she’s bold and curious. But thoughtless, naive, and labile. Jacks is a delicious slice of cake though.
