Felix by Lulu Moore
5.0
OG was 4.5 stars but after thinking this is def 5 star status.
I was pleasantly surprised by this book. Not that I expected the book to be bad but Brother’s best friend is usually a 3 star at most for me because I don’t love the secret relationship aspect (to anxious for that lmao). However, this is easily in my top 5 favorites of the BBF trope because it was done so well. I adore Felix, I knew I would but seeing him turn into a simp was the best thing ever. I liked Molly as well, she was a strong character and she didn’t take anyone’s shit including Felix’s lol. The third act conflict dropped this from a full five stars for me personally just because it felt like self-sabotage on Molly’s end and I was rolling my eyes at her a little. She did make up for it but truly just wished she listened to what Felix was saying the ENTIRE book. Overall this was a very enjoyable read and makes me reconsider my stance on BBF, maybe I am just not reading the right ones. Adore this series and Lulu’s writing in general. Excited for Huck’s book next month!
