Idrk what it was about this one but right now, I think this is my favourite book of the series.
Kellen still makes the same stupid mistakes n is a dumbo, but I love him?? He grew up a bit in this book, and I really appreciated it.
There were more emotional beats in this book than the previous ones, and I think they really had a big impact on how much I enjoyed it. The characters felt like they were facing more important decisions/situations and I just really enjoyed it.
I’m ngl though I have no idea how most of the names are spelt bc I’ve been listening to the audiobooks haha BUT the narrator has done a fabulous job keeping the story engaging and emotional.
The bad guys still do feel a little 2D but I just adore all the side characters haha. Hope to see more Butelios (?) in the future books bc mans was so endearing.

Anyways I’m so glad I randomly stumbled across this series in my library catalogue bc I’m live laugh loving rn.
