This was an entertaining read that serves as an excellent prequel for the series. I like the concept of a murder mystery party and this book really makes me want to go to one. To see Pippa fall in love with solving a case and following clues was a lot of fun. It added a lot of valuable depth to the motivations of her character. I wish more series added short prequel novellas like this one.
