Wasn't aware when I grabbed this book, it is a new series. I grabbed it for the setting National parks ( I loved Nevada Barr series until it grew old and stale) so I was excited to read.

It started out with the Statue of Liberty being attacked. At first it just seems it might be an isolated incident. But further investigation seems to point to ALL national parks being a target.

We Get Gina who is specialist for the Fbi, and Michael who is a park ranger ( kind of demotion) they work well together and being to suspect something bigger is going on.

As they investigate more parks are targeted and the persons behind is a huge group that has been amassing themselves for years.
