Pretty long, but good read. Very scenic too. A sad ode to the past lives of women and the feeling of belonging to men, Charity’s original independence and freedom was beautiful, and Lucius Harney seemed like a decent guy. F Mr. Royall but in the end he seems to care (although, that does not excuse his other actions). Decent book.
