Loads of people whose book taste I like, mention The Little Prince by Antoine De Saint-Exupéry as one of their all time favourite books. So I read it this week. I agree it is a beautiful story, well deserving of the love it gets.. A story about core values and wonder, joy and hope and one that that appeals to children and adults.
It isn’t my favourite book of this sort of theme.. that would be Eric by Shaun Tan … and then Letters from a Lost Uncle by Mervyn Peake.
But thoroughly enjoyable and comforting as I recover from Shingles ( which wasn’t so nice).
