SENTIENT SHIP WE HAVE A SENTIENT SHIP AND ITS AN ASSHOLE AND I LOVE IT. Really, really intrigued by the escalation of the conflict that this book brings to the series, and by the answers (and additional questions) we get about Murderbot's life prior to meeting the Preservation crew.  I have more feelings than I know how to put into words about
MB's makeover, about their trusting ART to modify their body for their own safety, about their feelings about looking more human. About ART comforting MB by playing MB's favorite show rather than its own.

About ART being an intelligence as vast as space who could delete MB from existence as an afterthought but being remarkably distressed at even the concept of a ship not being able to protect its crew. About ART making MB its crew and protecting them with everything in its power.

About MB's attitude toward Pleasure Units and how that attitude changes. About the constructs who sacrificed themselves when the mine where MB went rogue went crazy, about how despite having no weapons or defense or programming telling them to do it, they still chose to try to save everyone. About how those units are constructs, and still use organic parts, and still have organic brains which can't be wiped. About how one approached MB and asked for help, and about how it was so angry once MB allowed it to hack its governor module that it wanted to kill humans.

About all of it, really. And I certainly can't talk about those spoiler free. But you should read this book and get back to me, because I can't fathom a version of myself which won't want to talk about this story forever.
