Gosh dang it. I have to stop saying I don't read contemporary because THIS. THIS GUYS. First of all, Emily Henry's humor is legit the inside of my mind. Girl is me, ok? Second, January and Gus are BOTH so incredibly relatable and their love story is EVERYTHING. Third, the story is literally fire: writers in a bet to write each other's genre, plus hate to love romance. I am cliche and love this book just as much IF NOT MORE than everyone else in the bookish community and I AM NOT SORRY.
