I was mostly felt wanting more. It’s hard to do a revamp/update about the slasher genre when it already feels done (to death) but the Scream franchise, or even Behind the Mask. Hendrix does a good job writing a sense of paranoia, and there were solid twists and turns throughout, but never leans far enough into the idea of following the survivors of famous slasher franchises.
