If you've read Penny Reid before you already know you're fall in love with the men in the story. The MMC is a grumpy golden retriever, and those are my favorite. He falls so hard for her and she just can't see it. The FMC is dealing with a lot of self doubt (felt like I was commiserating with her best friend, like what are we gonna do with her?), but she's kind, and quirky, and makes all the things and sells them at Christmas markets, and I love her too! The story is sweet and has some turns, but no third act breakup (THANK YOU), and also so funny. I was chuckling throughout the whole story. The Winston brothers set a high bar, but Rex holds his own.
