Told in dual perspective, the book is about Hannah and Sam, two soon to be college freshman both eager to lose their virginities (and why it doesn't even matter). They met briefly at a party, then coupled with several miscommunications and even some lies, they do not connect in they way they intend or hope.
This book had me laughing out loud and cringing from secondhand embarrassment. I loved the references to Zac Efron, One Direction, and other things that made this so realistically teenager-y that it was near impossible to put down.
