The Set Up by Falguni Kothari

4.0

The Set Up is the perfect way to go about hoping to find love. I don't know what it feels like to have grandparents because either they were not a part of my life or they were already dead before I was born so it seems so wonderful to have grandparents that care so much about one's future. Now, it doesn't miss me one bit that having nosey and aggressive grandparents that want to marry you off and secure great-grandbabies. I think it just comes with the territory. The grandparents were just the cutest and then we find out a lovely twist in about 2/3rds of the audio. It was very interesting to see love and dating play out for a younger couple and an older couple.

I liked very much how Aditi and Krishna shared quips between one another. They definitely had chemistry, but it had to be handled with ease. It was great to hear them have a commonality with GOT references and characters. Yes, Season 8 was the worst season ever, Aditi. It made for a great story line for the two main leads to have something that ties them to each other.

Nonetheless, I am interested in what else can or could happen. Who gets to share the HEA in the book? Where's part 2?

If you have 90-120 minutes to do nothing, this is a fun, charming, and satisfying read for the deeply romantic.

I love me a good Audible Original.
