I'm not sure how you have so much and nothing at all going on in a book. Like 3 chapters at the end was all that kept my interest the rest was a push to get through. Eve

Only one character really stands out, and he's barely utilized, and kind of labeled as flippant.

Predictable, but I chalk that up to it being YA.
