Paper Towns by John Green
2.0
I was expecting this book to live up to the name John Green has created for himself with The Fault In Our Stars and all, but I must say I was disappointed. It started off with a good pace. Quentin embarks on an over-night adventure with his childhood crush Margo, seeking revenge. And then it sort of goes downhill after that. There were some parts that seemed to drag on forever (I can't believe he wrote two pages about pee only), and the characters weren't endearing, but quite pretentious, especially Margo. The plot wasn't all that gripping. Just the first part of the book was (The Strings). I was excited to read this book after reading The Fault In Our Stars and John Green's short story in Let It Snow. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to my expectations.
