This book by Kat Baxter is a quick and enjoyable read, but unfortunately, I have to admit that it’s not a story that will leave a lasting impression on me.

I love reading novellas, but I felt that there was a slight lack of cohesion between the different parts of this story.

I also got stuck on the fact that the MMC is 48 years old and opened his paediatric practice 25 years ago, which would imply that he finished his medical studies at the age of 23 at the most, which seems rather unlikely.
