Every time I read a Jason Reynolds book, I am reminded of how amazing of a storyteller he is.

In this one, we follow Miles Morales (our friendly neighbor in Brooklyn) as he continue schooling in elite BVA where something shady is happening.

As he continue schooling, Miles will uncover something creeping behind the walls of this institution.

I enjoyed how Jason Reynolds combined both the typical novel format with in-verse storytelling and it showcases his range as an author.

Even though the story follows a fictional teen superhero living a normal life in broad daylight, the commentary stitched in the story remains relevant in this modern age.

You can never go wrong with picking up a Jason Reynolds book and this one is definitely a must-read if you're a Spiderman fan and/or you enjoy novels highlighting important voices of this generation.
