Reread #3 for the Norwescon book club. First time was in my teens, then my 20s. I find I got so much more out of it this time, especially the politicking. Part was my maturation over 30+ years of life later. Part was all the Dune media I've consumed over the years (movies, tv, comics, etc). And part was my BF infodumping HOURS of Dune lore into my head. An amazing, dense, subtle, vast world. I may finally read on in the series ... someday ... . But first, the Villeneuve treatment, can't wait!
