Reread: lots of fun, especially when listening to ‘the wheel reads’ podcast
This was a great first book for the series. It wasn't a 5 star for me (yet) because I lost track at some points, and didn't always understand what was going on. I am just getting into adult fantasy.
But, from the start I was really into it. The writing feels very natural to me, in the sense that characters seem like real people and not cartoons or cutouts.
I love the female representation and the magic system.
I am very eager to read the rest of the series (and to watch the new show on Amazon).
