I went into the book with no clue what was going to happen. It was daunting because it’s a big book but I’m so glad I did. This book has quickly made its way to my god tier book list. The world building, the characters, and the plot were so good. There were a few ideas I hope they develop more on in the sequel but it was such a strong first book in the series. The plot twist in those last few chapters had my mouth drop open! That twist wasn’t even on my radar. I already know a few people may say that they found the FMC didn’t have the much growth and to them I say, it’s the first dang book, let’s wait for the second. I actually really liked the fmc. I thought she was a bad ass with a huge heart.
