The plot of this book was just so fun and really unique. It took a few turns that I really wasn't expecting.
Like I really didn't think they'd actually kill Kaderin off or that the keys would actually work and allow them to go back and save her sisters.
What was even better was the angst. Man, was the angst angsting. Loved the relationship dynamic between the two and how it developed.

Sebastian was such a great mmc. I loved that he wasn't the typical alpha and was a bit of a nerd and more intellectual than most. What I really liked was that while there was the fated mates element which resulted in insta-lust, he still acknowledged that it didn't make him instantly in love with Kaderin and rather those feelings took time to develop. As for Kaderin, I really loved how strong she was and how much she grew as a character. Really loved seeing her soften up as the story went.
