This was a fun novella follow-up to the CU hockey world. Before reading the summary for book 5, I had assumed book 5 would be Simms or Rossi's story (but I'm SO glad we got West's instead!!), so I was excited to read about Rossi in this novella.
Likes:
Likes:
- no homophobia here + super chill parents. I liked how Rossi came out to his parents & their reaction
- fun and light, workplace romance
- Rossi's family is just great & I loved their interactions with Tyson. Also, Rossi's high school friends being super chill about Rossi being with Tyson was nice!
Dislikes:
- this is a personal preference -- but I'm just not really into the finance/business bro thing
- Tyson grated my nerves sometimes. BUT I'm really glad Rossi liked him as he was/never made Tyson feel like he was over the top or tried to tone him down.
