This book is slowest of burns almost times two. I liked Reed and Lila. They are both two soft souls who needed to find each other. Despite the challenges they faced I felt that they were clearly well matched. For me I felt that the burn lasted too long same with the third act breakup . While this was not the strongest book in the series I did enjoy the story. It was nice getting little glimpses into Cal and Grace’s future (same for Maddie and James). I recommend this for fans of slooow burns and a little forbidden temptation.
Graphic: Child abuse and Abandonment
Moderate: Infidelity, Panic attacks/disorders, and Death of parent
