I get why this book has been described as literary horror because this story was such a beautiful way to depict grief.

I didn’t expect to fall for this little monster the way that I did and the multiple points of view really added an extra look at what everyone was going through and how they were also experiencing Monstrilio’s growth at the same time.

Definitely a book that will sit with me for a while and has Gerardo high on my radar!!
